The Music Center at Strathmore Montgomery County, MD The Music Center at Strathmore, a 1,976 seat concert hall located in Bethesda, Maryland, just outside Washington, DC, is the second home of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, who will play 30% of its concerts in the new hall. The Center also features a 40,000 square foot Education Wing which includes four rehearsal rooms, two with 40-foot high ceilings, as well as nine practice rooms, offices and other teaching facilities. Built with state and county funds, The Music Center sits adjacent to an historic Georgian mansion which houses community arts programming. William Rawn Associates teamed with Grimm and Parker Architects for this project.
